There are many secret places waiting to be discovered along more than 1.000 km of hiking trails. Numerous trails in Ischgl and surroundings let every hikers’ heart beat faster. BIKING IN ISCHGL

Biking in an extraordinary surrounding – that’s what the trails in Ischgl stand for.

Either high in the mountains or also back down in the valley, with E-Bike or the normal Mountain bike - there are trails for every bikers level. Biking is the perfect activity if you want to see many places and secret spots in a short lap of time.

Our own Mountain bike shop is directly in the Hotel and is stocked with bikes, E-Bikes and all the bike equipment.

Huts

The idyllic position of our Schlosshotel Ischgl in the middle of beautiful mountains invites to hike and bike and get in touch with this unspoiled countryside.

Not only mountain summits offer a beautiful view but also the traditional and lovely mountain huts. They offer a variety of local culinary delights, Tyrolean hospitality and rustic interiors. Anyways it’s worth a visit to enjoy the views.

Additionally there are also events in summer like the “Kulinarischer Jakobsweg” under the slogan “easy hike and big enjoyment”.

Lakes & swimming pools

You need refreshment after or during an exhausting hike or bike? Jump into the fresh water of one of many mountain lakes or dive into a swimming pool at the end of the day. In Ischgl you can take a swim and combine this with stunning views to the mountains. Crystal clear water meets impressive panoramas and creates a unique flair – pure enjoyment!

Relax or have a picnic at the lakes nearby, such as “Schwarzsee”, “Pardatschersee”, “Madleinsee”, “Berglisee” or the small lake besides the picturesque “Friedrichshafener Hut” on over 2.000 Meter – each of those is unique & every dive is an adventure.

Climbing & Bouldering

Ever dreamed of climbing a summit and feel the rocks?

There are many “Via Ferratas”, also for beginners, which offer the perfect climbing feeling and lead you to the summit. One of the most known are the Greitspitz Summit and the Flimspitz Summit which can be reached through a Via Ferrata. For advanced rock climbers there are also many routes – to fully enjoy those, ask and have an experienced and local alpine guide with you.

Whoever prefers indoor climbing or bouldering; there are many options in Paznaun valley. A real paradise for bouldering safely outside you can find in the “Silvapark Galtür” on 2.000 Meters – there are over 175 Boulder routes for all levels and it is the first boulder paradise for children in Austria.
